Hearty reception for German surface specialists |

 LEXINGTON/ALTDORF - On the occasion of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, the executive board of Otto Sport has had the honour to be a guest of Kentucky governor Steven L. Beshear. Being the official footing supplier of the Games, the German surface specialists were very glad about the invitation.
Otto Sport General Manager Wolfgang Otto and his sister Heidi Moosdorf were among the approximately 40 invited guests; all of them were sponsors of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games that have just been finished. The Bavarian family business significantly contributed to ensure success of the Games that took place outside Europe for the very first time. Within the last two years, they had installed almost 430,000 sq. ft. (40,000 sqm.) of their equestrian surface system on the Kentucky Horse Park arenas.
Kentucky’s First Lady Jane Beshear, who is a dedicated rider and horse enthusiast herself, had watched construction of the arenas with great interest from the very beginning. She is very delighted with the top-of-the-line surface made in Germany. During the Games the footing has proved its qualities (drainage, concussion absorption and non-slip properties) impressively and has received rave reviews. “We are happy and proud to make our contribution to a successful proceeding of the Games", said the Otto Sport management.
